Durham Regional Police Service says Durham Regional Crime Stoppers is offering a $25,000 cash reward for information that helps investigators make arrests in a Beaverton break-and-enter investigation.
Police said the original incident happened on Tuesday, February 17, when members of North Division responded at about 8:10 p.m. to a residence in the area of Thorah Concession Road 4 and Thorah Side Road.
According to DRPS, the homeowner had left the residence in the early morning and returned after 5 p.m. to find the front door open.
A search of the home found that a gun safe had been stolen. In the original release, police said several firearms had been taken during the residential break-and-enter.
The $25,000 reward is available for information that assists investigators and leads to arrests. DRPS said the reward offer expires on April 28, 2027.
Anonymous tips can be submitted to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online. Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward.
